Bullet releases
Heart is cut
Once opened eyes
Become shut.

Blood flies
Tears fall
Once a warm body
But now sits cold.

Promises were broken
Lies were reveled
Heart becomes torn
He’s no longer her shield.

Faint screams
Come from a far
He drops the gun
Watching the memories scar.

She lays there
No longer awake
Going back in his mind
Making a huge mistake.

Looking down in his hand
Tear falling from his face
Pulls the trigger
And leaves no trace.
